LoveWhereYouLiveBC fosters neighbourhood pride through Canadian litter reduction and eco-stewardship initiatives. Our Victoria-based grassroots organization sprung from a need for social responsibility. We received a Neighbourhood Small Grant from the Victoria & Vancouver Foundations in 2015.
One of our major projects, Tobacco-Related Pollution (TRP) is the largest contributor to environmental microplastic. With 5.4 trillion cigarettes produced worldwide annually, the time is now to prevent more plastic in our water and soils.

Meet Our Team
Michael brings concepts to the forefront as Event Organizer and Chair. Jam One in the Can and eliminating single-use plastics from tobacco products are his pet projects.
Colin is a leader by example and played a key role in our development. A member of the team and Community Liaison, he is a champion recycling pro!
Ngoc is our Trustee and Analytics Department. She organizes our data and tracking, and is a member of the Action Team.
Yvonne is a founding team member, Community Liaison, and member of the Action Team. Yvonne is our source of unstoppable energy.
Sonora saved the day and continues to pull rabbits from a hat as a solution provider. She has been promoted to Vice-Chair and is a member of the Action Team.
Tear Drop comes with friend Colin and is our mascot. A part of official events to planning sessions from the beginning, she brings loyal cuteness.
